Still no straight answers on drones
Biden officials point to misidentification, say they are not a big deal
Biden doesn't think this is “nefarious” or a big deal, per what he said to reporters last night.
Yeah, given what folks are seeing and recording, that answer is not flying with anyone. Pun intended.
President-elect Trump said Biden and his top government officials know what this is and what is happening.
National security communications adviser John Kirby said all of this is "nothing unusual," and this is "legal aviation."
Most of the officials in the Biden administration keep saying the drones are planes and people are "misidentifying" what they are seeing.
I say most officials, because Homeland Security Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas wants the states to have the power to shoot them down. Not kidding.
“We want state and local authorities to also have the ability to counter drone activity under federal supervision,” Mr Majorkas told ABC News on its Sunday edition of "This Week."
More To The Story
The mayor of Belleville, New Jersey says the drones are "listening and watching" for radioactive material that went "missing" in his state on Dec. 2.
Um, what?
Former Navy Pilot tells Joe Rogan the drones are not about nukes or a weapon on mass destruction.
House Foreign Affairs Committee chairman Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX) said yesterday he thinks some are “spy drones” from China and they are "not friendly."
“We need to identify who is behind these drones,” McCaul said. “My judgment based on my experience is that those that are over our military sites are adversarial and most likely are coming from the People’s Republic of China.”
Contrary to Mayorkas’ sentiments, the FBI's New Jersey field office is telling people not to shoot the drones down or use laser pointers as they might be interfering with manned aircraft.
Other than that, the FBI still has nothing to tell the American people or citizens of the state.
