Question: What was the Oprah "Unite for America" town hall like?
Short answer: It was an elaborate, well-manicured party she threw for Harris. It was a scripted platform for celebrity endorsements, filled with extended cut word salads, nonsensical ramblings, and zero answers to any policy questions.
A couple asked Harris how she will bring down the cost of living.
This is a question she has repeatedly tossed out a ramble of platitudes as her answer and it was no different this time, which is to say she immediately began to filibuster.
She offered no plan and did not answer to the question asked.
“Yours is a story I hear around the country as I travel. In terms of both rightly having the right to have aspirations and dreams and ambitions for your family and working hard and finding that the American dream is, for this generation and so many recently, far more elusive than it’s been.”
Frankly, the next part of her answer to that question was an insult to the intelligence of those watching.
"And there are a number of ways. One is bringing down the cost of everyday necessities, including groceries."
